The Episcopal Church in Minnesota (ECMN) is a network of faith communities with roots going back more than 180 years. Our 97 churches represent more than 18,000 parishioners, and along with affiliated schools, non-profits, and care centers we engage in God’s mission. As the Episcopal branch of the Jesus Movement in the North Star state we strive to foster the Beloved Community—a place where all people experience dignity in loving, liberating and life-giving relationship.
ECMN is in Province VI of The Episcopal Church. Our new Episcopal Center office is in North Minneapolis and St. Mark’s in downtown Minneapolis is home to its Cathedral. Additionally, the historic Cathedral of Our Merciful Savior in Faribault was the first cathedral building in the American Episcopal church.
